1. Urban Waste can be defined, as the waste collected from the residential and industrial areas of cities and towns.

2. Waste disposal is all the activities and actions required to manage waste from its inception(starting) to its final disposal.

3. First, the urban waste should be properly segregated into degradable and non degradable waste at every point source.

4. Now,  degradable waste i.e wet waste accumulated in term of tones is disposed off at landfilling sites, where it can be used for production of biogas and compost

5. Dry waste such as glass, paper, plastic, metal etc. recyclable waste (dry waste) is transported to reclying industries.

6. The best way to disposed dry waste is to either reduce, recycle or reuse it.
