Urbanization is the prime reason behind population growth, immigration, and industrialization, but there is limited area of land. Therefore, to avail the need of land people cut down trees. This further leads to the shortage of forest areas beacause no appreciable reforestation is done on that particular area. That is how, urbanization causes forest degradation.
