it's just that v1/v2 ratio can also be obtained by
c/v2/c/v1 so we have taken it this way to get in the ratio so that ratio of final nu2/nu1 can be obtained.

XYZrm: but I want to know how v¹ = c/v2 & v² = c/v1 . if u can help me out I would be thankful for u
lakshikaarora11: it isn't that way, we to make the ratio same v1/v2
lakshikaarora11: it is possible only to divide c by v2 in the numerator and c by v1 in denominator
lakshikaarora11: as actually c get cancelled.
lakshikaarora11: purposely we have put c there
lakshikaarora11: to get a new ratio
lakshikaarora11: got it?
XYZrm: OK thanks
lakshikaarora11: Oh don't mind. :)
