"The village is the cell of the national body and the cell
of life must be healthy and developed for the national body to be
healthy and developed."
The soul of India lives in its villages.Indian villages have greenery where one can breathe fresh air. But by the human activities due to various reasons there is a threat to villages and its greenery which effects the environment.
For example:
1.Industrial development leads to water pollution by release of harmful chemicals mercury, cadmium ,tin lead ,arsenic,or organic sludge into water bodies and makes water unfit for drinking and to great extent threat to aquatic animals.
2. Construction of Cement roads and apartments contribute to air pollution . All constructional sites generates high level of dust typically from concrete, cement, stone and silica and may cause health problems like respiratory illness, asthma etc.
3. Radio and TV transmitter will emit radio and micro waves causes headaches, sleep disorders, poor memory, disturbance and sometimes even cancer. Even birds are in danger due to cell phone tower radiation]
4. Modern Farming practices involves the use of large amounts of fertilizers and pesticides which leads to soil degradation.[fertile soil can become barren] which creates ecological imbalance.
5. Development of village is leading to cutting down of trees which affects environment because trees provide fresh air to breathe .
6. Due to deforestation water cycle will get effected .
7. By using Air conditioners and refrigerants, the release of CFC's[Chloro Fluorocarbons] is more .
CFC's damage ozone in the ozone layer when they escape into atmosphere .This causes more ultraviolet radiation on earth which is a great threat human life. like can effect the lungs, Central nervous system, heart ,kidney ,exposure to more UV rays can lead to skin cancer and eye damage.
hence I conclude by saying that every person motto should
"Development without Destruction"
