⇒The vitreous humor (also known simply as the vitreous) is a clear, colorless fluid that fills the space between the lens and the retina of your eye. 99% of it consists of water and the rest is a mixture of collagen, proteins, salts and sugars, the clear jelly that fills the eyeball behind the lens. It helps support the shape of the eye and transmits light to the retina.

Hope this helps !

Hey mate here your answer
Most of the eye's interior is filled with vitreous, a gel-like substance that helps the eye maintain a round shape. There are millions of fine fibers intertwined within the vitreous that are attached to the surface of the retina, the eye's light-sensitive tissue.
