How w constructive work in villages carried out under the Swadeshi programme?

Swadeshi and Boycott were complementary and supplementary to each other. If you follow Swadeshi, you are compelled to follow Boycott. The programme of these two movements included:
1. Boycott of British goods.
2. Boycott of Government jobs.
3. Boycott of honorary posts.
4. Boycott of Legislative Council.

British goods included British cloth, salt, sugar, food, and all kinds of things including liquor.
Thus, the Swadeshi movement gave a stimulus to the Indian Industries. Gandhiji influenced the people of the village to make hand woven cloth Khadi and use them. This provided employment to villagers too.
