The practice of apartheid in south Africa is the discrimination against blacks and coloureds(people who are foreigners but not white like Indians).

They were forced to live in a separate area than the white people.
They were not allowed to use any facilities like beaches, swimming pools, libraries, hospitals etc. that the whites used.
