Bruno became very special after coming from Mysore zoo. ... Bruno was getting too big to be kept at home so he was sent to the zoo. But it made the narrator's wife and Bruno very sad. So when he was brought back to home he was given a special care and an island was made for him to stay .

The narrator got him by accident. They were driving away the wild pigs from the fields by shooting ar them. Suddenly a black sloth bear came out panting in the hot sun. He took him , put into a gunny - bag and go back to home ( Mysore - Banglore)
