Early humans were basically nomads.

Explanation:

  • Early Humans were not much civilized or cultured.  They wandered in search of food.
  • Early humans were hunters and gatherers.  Finding food was not easy for them.  They used to get their food by gathering, hunting, scavenging, and fishing.
  • They collected food from plant sources such as fruits, vegetables, berries, nuts, and seeds, etc., and it is termed as gathering.
  • They began to hunt animals to fulfil their hunger. Southern England and Germany are the proof to know that nomads hunted large mammals.
  • They used to get meat from the animals who were already died or been killed.
  • They gradually learnt the art of fishing. Fishing was learnt near ponds, rivers, and lakes. Fishing used to be done by hand or by using stones and wood.
  • Then, they also got to know that if we rub two pieces of stone together, it produces fire and so, they started cooking.
