The environment was being polluted and the health of the people was completely unhealthy. The bhopal gas tragedy brought change, the Indian government brought new laws on the government, hence the polluters were to be held accountable for the damage done to the environment. Now it is felt that environment is something that people generation will share and it could not be destroyed merely for industrial development any other activities.
