Hey friend,

Here's your answer :

Gulliver could stay at home with his family only for 10 days. He had accepted the offer of serving as a surgeon on a ship called 'Hope-Well'. The ship set out on a voyage to the East Indies. Gulliver's thirst for seeing the world had not diminished in any way.

The ship stayed at Fort St. George for three weeks. The purpose was to provide rest to the crew as many of them had fallen sick. Then the ship set sail and moved to Tonquin.

Gulliver was given a sloop to sail away. Some sailors were with him. Suddenly his sloop had to face a fierce storm. On the tenth day, some pirates took hold of Gulliver and robbed him of all of his belongings.

They put him in a boat to drift away. Five days later, Gulliver reached an island where he got down. He was tired and I low spirits.

After a few days, he discovered a flying island over head. He was all the more surprised to find some people moving about there. Later, he learnt that the name of the flying island was Laputa.

Hope this helps!!!!
