it was damage in the British rule because of British required bricks to lay railway lines and when they could not find enough Timber this simply pickdup use rocks that were shape into bricks by Harappan and simply use them for laying out railway tracks.one more reason is said that the British did not wanted Indians to discover how powerful they have been earlier it is said that many more secrets are buried under the Harappa city and Britishers decided it it's better if they are let it been but it because a simple example is that the harappans simply tried to change the course of river Saraswati as they called today's India Indus river they simply diverted INR into the other direction then the earthquake came and the Harappan city was washed away into the same river which they have diverted so it was said that harappans technology was so much primitive get advance both at the same time with the strength of primitive technologies and the the logic of of advanced technology much advance then which we are living in.
