History teaches us about patriotism and nationalism. The History textbooks provide details about the Indian Independence. It was Dadabhai Naoroji of the Congress who talked about Independence (Swaraj) for the first time. Raja Rammohan Roy, Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Jyotiba Phule, were staunch nationalists. Later Mahatma Gandhi took part in the political movement of India and made us forget about violence with his weapon of non violence.....All these events of history teaches us about nationalism...The heroic deeds of Rani Laxmibai, Kunwar Singh, etc...revives the spirit of nationalism.
