Hey mate!!!
Here's your answer...

Seven Nizams ruled Hyderabad for two centuries until Indian independence in1947. The Asaf Jahi rulers used money to support free Education, literature, architecture, art, culture and cuisine. TheNizams ruled the state until September 1948 after independence from the British. The Asaf Jah dynasty had only seven rulers; however there was a period of 13 years after the rule of the first Nizam when three of his sons (Nasir Jung, Muzafar Jung and Salabath Jung) ruled. They were not officially recognised as the rulers. Seven Nizams ruled Hyderabad for two centuries until 1947. The pace at which the last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan amassed wealth made him one of the world's richest men in 1937, also known for his miserliness. He was estimated to be worth ₹660 crores (roughly US$2 billion by the then exchange rates). Barkat Ali Khan Mukarram Jah Asaf Jah VIII, Beyefendi (born 6 October 1933), less formally known as Mukarram Jah, became the titular Nizam of Hyderabad on the death of his grandfather in 1967.

Hope this will help you.

hay mate here is your answer

Lets start with this-

The ruler of erstwhile state of Hyderabad

Hyderabad has been a surplus state from very beginning ,in 1870 Hyderabad has a surplus of lakh rupees, and by 1888 it was rasied to 70 lakh rupees. This was devlopment of hyderbad.Nizam was the one who bring industrial revolution to the country.

Nizam made Hyderabad a industrial hub.cotton, tabacoo, steel ,gas, chemical distillares were established in the regime of nizam.

first spinning mill in 1873,firani factory 1876,iron factory 1910,iron foundry 1912,vst factory 1919,chemical laboratory 1920,deccan glass factory 1927,ram gopal cotton mill 1929,Hyderabad steel and iron 1931,kohinoor glass factory 1933,indian human pipe company 1934,taj clay works limited 1936,nizam sugar factory 1937,sirpur paper mill 1939,hyderbad national gas limited ,Hyderabad chemical and pharmaceutical 1941 ,Hyderabad state bank 1942,praga tools 1943,Deccan chemical works, baba vasudev pharmaceutical limited, charminar poatry limited.1956 had 50 steel manufacturing units, electroplating ,there were rice, floor and oil mills.

school ,colleges and universities

by 1872 Hyderabad had 16 government school teaching in Telugu,Urdu,Persian,English and Marathi

Hyderabad civil engineering college in 1869.

mahboob college in 1882.

secundrabad mahboob college in 1884.

nizam college 1874.

nawpari girls school 1887

medical college 1894

law college 1899

city college 1920

osmania university 1920

osmania medical college 1921

marthwada hindi vidhyalaya 1924

physical education college 1930

college of vetenary science 1946

54 public libraies where built between 1876 to 1947.

Hyderabad had his own power supply system, first electricity board of south India ,by 1930 bolt sotone company came to Hyderabad awarded best electric board in country where madras got electricity got before 17 years back.

even the current legislative assembly was constructed under nizam.

Government in 1897 launched a scholarship scheme for students to study abroad- one of the beneficiary of the scholarship was sarojani naidu (the night-angle of India) studied in London under nizam scholarship scheme funded by nizam of Hyderabad.

when INDIA was on a war front in 1965 nizam announced that he would contribute five tonnes of gold to augment the war fund. In monetary terms, the Nizam’s contribution was about Rs 75 lakh, or about three-fourth of the annual Privy Purse he received from the Centre

In terms of today’s gold price in the international market, this donation translates to a whopping Rs 1,500 crore.

The Nizam’s donation of 5,000 kg of gold to the National Defence Fund in 1965 was the biggest ever contribution by any individual or organisation in India and remains unsurpassed till today.

The legacy of nizam's are that they are never discussed when it comes to administration and historical achievements .They where eclipsed by our big political cloud .

Out 58 years of andhra pradesh 44 years the chief minister of state was from raylaseema and andhra reigon ,still both the areas are not that developed when compared to telengana(nizam state of Hyderabad) that is a big question mark?

so we can conclude that what nizam did was not done after independence in this surplus state.

I hope it's help you .
