Mr. Tagde was a disciplinary teacher whose class was always disturbed by a child named Veerendra, a son of a politician and a member of the school board managing committee. Mr. Tagde was a thin, short, a man of old age and was to retire in another three years. His children had been well set up and had no fear of losing his job. He is the protagonist of the story and was very strict, decent, fair and rational.
He always believed in discipline and wanted his students to be disciplined. He was willing to face and challenges, however never bowed done before injustice He performs his duty with utmost diligence and skill. Mr. Tagde was disciplinarian teacher and he became a hero for his fight against corruption which was found in several of the private schools managed by politicians whose children were causing troubles.
