How was peninsula plateau of India formed

The peninsular plateau of india was formed because of the drifting of the earlier landmass called the Gondwana land.
This landmass started drifting and because of this it collided with the australian plate and broke down. The part then touched the indo australian plate which drifted towards the eurasian plate resulting in formation of the great himalayas and the gondwana land part became the peninsular plateau of india

World land forms originated from two giant lands namely Angara land and Gondwana land. The Indian peninsula was a part of Gondwana land.
