When Santosh Yadav lived in Kasturba Hostel, she used to watch the villagers climbing up the hills of Aravalli. They would vanish from her eyes after reaching a distant point. This used to amaze her and she wanted to know more about mountain climbing. She went up there and asked people about mountain climbing. They agreed to join them and motivated her to climb the mountain. Thus she got the motivation of climbing the mountain and became the first woman to climb Mount Everest twice.
