the triangular slave trade was abolished by French government or legislature in 1798 from the French overseas possession from ports Nantes to African coast.It was done because there were criticism about the African slave serving the plantation of the French people when went to America for jobs.However,Napoleon Bonaparte, the emperor of France reintroduced slavery in France.It was finally abolished in 1814
