The three points on the basis of which it can be proved that the Soviet economy was different from the American economy are as follows.

1. The Soviet economy was a state controlled economy, in which state control was established over the economic structure of the state. The state had established control over basic industries such as oil, iron, steel and developed a vast network of communications, while the American model, in contrast, promoted capitalism and allowed economic independence by encouraging private ownership. Due to which private forces in the market got an opportunity to play freely.
2. The Soviet model was a model based on socialism, in which private property was considered a social evil and everyone had an equal right on state property. Whereas in the US, in contrast, the capitalist model gave importance to private ownership of property.
3. The Soviet model was a model based on socialism, in which health education and other welfare schemes were run by the government for the welfare of the people. The American model gave more incentive to private property. The structure of society was formed on the basis of private property.
