They were treated like they were always doing something wrong.
A lot of the time they had done nothing to deserve to get treated like that. They got beaten and whipped.
The servants inside the house got treated better than the ones that had to work outside.
So all in all the whites were very racist so they hated blacks that means that they beat or killed them.

apartheid system followed in South Africa was very oppressive for blacks because it was a type of racial discrimination where the blacks were discriminated against the whites they had different places to live , different coaches in trains and even different paths
