Civil disobedience movement was different from the non cooperation movement as the latter was focused on not cooperating with the government to bring disruption in the admin while the prior was focused upon disobeying the gov by defiance of various laws and thus making the admin come to a complete standstill.
Non cooperation was called off because of the chauri chaura incident and CDM was called off as according to the gandhi irwin pact.
