The environment was treated very carelessly before the commencement of Bhopal gas tragedy. Due to the carelessness of the workers, this incident caused by the gas leakage occurrence on the night of in December 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) pesticide plant in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.
It is supposed to be the world's dangerous industrial accident. Over 500,000 people were endangered by methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas fumes. The extremely toxic material made its way into and throughout the small towns inhabited near the union carbide plant.
