The frog was a manipulative human and was responsible for the death of nightingale as he made her practice singing in harsh conditions that lead to the bursting of her vein.
He also told her lies like he was the owner of the tree and he was a great singer..

Heya,
The frog was toturing the nightingale to sing more loudly. So. when the nightingale puffed her her lungs out to sing more loudly, she burst her vien and died. In this way, the frog is set responsible for the nightingale's death.
