- During medieval times and in early modern time women in the world were dominated by men.
- They did not have rights including voting.
- They were mostly confined to domestic work like cooking, bringing up children etc...
- Due to industrialization a large number of women employed in factories.
- As women came out of family to work and earn, they developed a new identity about themselves.
