how was the necules of an atom discovered?

it was discovered by the theory of e gold stain when he tested with a gold foil he found the charge the lazer passing through center of other side so he found there is a nuclear energy in center and around it, it won't pass so that all the other side have negative energy like this he found that nucleus of atom
