Zamindari System ( Permanent settlement ) ( in 1793 by Lord Carnwallis ) is advantageous for the Britishers because -
i. zamindars were made the owner of the land and they did collect revanue from the peasants and were given to the Britishers from which they were maintaining their army .
ii. when peasants failed to give the revanue ; zamindars were forcing them to took lone . when they did not give the taken money , they had to give up their land . In this way they were becoming landless and jobless and on the other hand Britishers were enjoying the monopoly . They had had enough to face or mitigate their economy problems .
