There was a big difference between the politics of moderates and radicals.Although both of the groups were against partition of Bengal

Moderates were those groups of people who were moderate in their functions and objectives. They believed in Constitutional methods. They did not demand independence from the British. They were well-convinced with the British.

Radicals were another group of people led by Lal-Bal-Pal. They emphasised on bold methods such as strike, demonstrations.

I hope this answer helps you. THANK YOU!!!

Explanation:

The Radicals were opposed to the “politics of prayers” followed by the Moderates within the Congress. ... They argued that people must rely on their own strength, not on the “good” intentions of the government (as was the stated policy of the Moderates). They believed that people must fight for swaraj.
