how was the scroll read​

was invented in china and it looks like this to read this we should hold it from both up and bottom side and pull it then the scroll opens up and you can read it...hope it would help you

so here is your answer....

scroll was unrolled so that one page is exposed at a time, for writing or reading with the remaining pages we have to roll up to the left and right of visible pages. it is unrolled from side to side and text is written in it from top to bottom of page.
