There were 3 estates formed ....1st estate involved clergy(those who worked in churches)2nd estate involved nobles(landowners nd ministers in king's palace) 3rd estate involved all the ones expected the 2nd nd 1st(shopkeepers,cobblers,bakers etc.)3rd estate had to give taxes to clergy as well as to king whereas 1st nd 2nd were not to give taxes
