Issac Newton. When he was sitting under an apple tree, one apple fall on his head. He thought why the things fall on ground but not in the sky. Therefore, it was detected by Issac Newton.
When the weight is more gravitational force applied is also more. So, stone has more weight than a feather so it comes down on the ground due to gravitational force.
