Philanthropy Vs RIGHT

Mr. Gandhi called untouchables as Harijan, Ambedkar recommended Protestant Hindus. If Harijans were the children of God then were the non-Harijans the children of Satan ? Mr. Gandhi was keen to assign his given label but do not encourage inter dining or entry into temples.

Sail paced Vs Rapid paced

Mr. Gandhi thought about temple entry after learning lessons at the round table conference from Dr Ambedkar. Then again he postponed his fasting, and later cancelled it. Clause rendering untouchability a sin was not included in Ranga Iyer Bill. Mr. Gandhi did not admit any Harijan in his Harijan Sewak Sangh but Dr Ambedkar fought for the right to temple entry at once after getting nominated in the legislature assembly. He made himself absent from Harijan Sewak Sangh as it had caste Hindus and refused to sign the Ranga Iyer bill.

Not even Nurse Vs Mother

Mr. Gandhi claimed that congress had spent 20 lakh for the upliftment of untouchables but wires poured to London during the RTC from the depressed classes that he never helped them. Dr Ambedkar asked them to leave eating carrions, thrown out crumbs, paid interest to their needs, taught them self-help, self elevation and self-respect. He knocked doors for fund raising to open colleges, hostels and politically equipped them.
