Grandfather had bought Toto with lots of excitement thinking he would add him to his private zoo. However, Toto turned out to be more mischievous than grandfather had thought about him. He would do lots of damage to the things around him. He would tear clothes, curtains, and wallpapers; would break dishes, glassware, crockery, etc. Grandfather realized that keeping Toto any longer at home would mean more loss. So, grandfather found the tonga-driver from whom he had bought it, and sold Toto back to him at three rupees, bearing loss of two rupees.
