british imposed the forest policy and prevent the nearest village people from entering the forest..this is in gudem hills of andhra pradesh..the people beleived that the forest is a natural ecosystem and accessed by them..so.they protest agnaist the britishers by the leadership of alluri sitaram raju..they thought alluru sitaram raju as the incrination of god,,and also raju tells them to follow gandhi raj and wear khadi cloth..hope it helps
As they lay down many roles and the forest people did not follow it we can say that it forest people was different from the society thought by the British
