From the beginning itself India is a land of diversity with vast culture,language,religion,festivals etc.During the British rule in India despite the differences everyone whether it was Hindus ,Muslims, Sikhs, Christians etc everyone lived together in harmony. There was no selfish interest. As the people belonged to one country i.e India, the only thing people of India thought of was to get rid of the British people and live together in harmony.
