DEWAXING:
This is a stage in the batik, where the tissue is placed in hot boiling water with a detergent and kept boiling. The cloth is moved continuously, this process is continued from two to three times.
The unleashed stubborn wax is removed by ironing where the paper is placed between sheets of white or brown paper. This is referred to as sandwich method."
