Percentage means out of 100.

Lets take a example...

Suppose

It was a class test in which you have socred 48 out 50.

If u want to know ur percentage than
Here is the solution.

$\frac{marks \: obtained}{total \: marks} \times 100$


$\frac{48}{50} \times 100$


Here, 0 Will be cancel from 0 , 10 is divisible by 5 so, u will cut it n it will come 2.



Now,the final answer is 48 × 2 = 96.
