The magnitude of the magnetic field depends on the amount of the current, and the distance from the charge carrying wire . The formula includes the constant . This is called permeability of free space . magnetic field is the tesla. formula for magnetic field is :

B = mew notI/2πr.

where as B is the field magnitude

mew not is the permeability of free space (4πr×10^-7T.m/A) .

I is the magnitude of the electric current.

r is the distance....
