1. Ketone is represented by CO group
As it is seen in CH3COCH3 that there are two alkyl groups on the terminals and a CO group is given . So we can say that it is ketone group .
2. As we know that Symbol of Bromine is Br and it is a halogen . And CH3Br is showing this symbol .
So it is a Halogen group .
So where you see CO it is ketone group and where you see Br , I , etc. it is halogen group
