We can identify acidic and basic substances by indentifying them by natural indicators.
For example,we can use the Litmus paper which is optained from the litchens as an indicator.It has two colours,red and blue.If the colour of the litmus changes from red to blue,then it is a basic substance,and it the colour changes from blue to red then it is acidic in nature.
NOTE:- The colour of the litmus will not change it the substance is neutral in nature.
