We can separate a mixture of salt and aluminum chloride with the process called sublimation . In this we take China dish in which there is mixture of salt and aluminum chloride. Now we have to take the funnel and invert it to the dish to cover the mixture. And now keep this China dish in stand and heat it with Bunsen burner and now we will see that aluminum chloride will be sticking on to the walls of funnel and salt remain in the funnel. By this we can separate salt and aluminum chloride
