Method to find mass of an object:-

Through Formulae:-

  • In case Mathematics (and Physics):-

 Mass = (Volume)(Density)

To find the mass of an object, we have to multiply the density of the object with the volume of it.

  • In case of Chemistry:-

 Mass = (Molar \ Mass)(No. \ of \ moles)

Mass is the product of Molar mass of an object and no. of moles.

  • In case of Physics:- [Write this part if you are doing Physics]

 Mass = \frac{Weight}{g}

Mass is the quotient when acceleration due to gravity (g) is divided with weight of an object.

Physical Methods:-

There are many other physical ways to find mass of an object. We can use

  • pan balance,
  • beam balance, etc.

to find the mass of an object.
