When our antibodies lose the power to fight against the bacteria that causes fever, our body may constantly increase or decrease the temperature due which we feel sick.

One gets a fever because our body is trying to kill the virus or bacteria that caused the infection. Most of those bacteria and viruses do well when our body is at our normal temperature. But if one has a fever, it is harder for them to survive. Fever also activates your body's immune system.
