If you are not able to mark someone as brainliest,I know the solution:

I was expereincing the same problem.

When you open the brainly app,there will be 5 or 6 steps( like create name ,avatar etc).If you comlete all of them then you will be able to mark someone as brainliest.

(The last step is take a pic of your question)
