Hi,
The answer is following;
In order to separate a mixture of potassium nitrate and potassium chlorate, take 5g of potassium nitrate, and 7g of potassium chlorate. Mix both of them and shake them together vigorously. let the mixture sit for a while and you will see that potassium nitrate has settled in the bottom whereas potassium chlorate has started to float on the top.

Answer:
Sodium chloride is soluble in water as potassium chloride is insoluble in water. Take a mixture of both in the beaker and add water to it. Now stir the mixture to dissolve sodium chloride. Now the sodium chloride is filtered by using filter paper and funnel. Potassium chloride remains as residue on the filter paper. The sodium chloride solution obtained after filtration is evaporated carefully to get the crystals of sodium chloride.
Hope it will help you
