when people started living as forest dwellers they did many things to survive. they were gatherers and their depended on forest for all their needs to survive like they cut a patch of forest to grow food crops. the cut the branches of trees used to form hurts to live they use the lakes and small ponds inside the forest for the supply of water also some of them used to grow cotton beads so that they can arrange some cloth.

- For this they cleared a small patch in forest, to make cultivable land. To make shelter, they cut the branches and used to make huts near sources of water in the forest. Hence, forest is a source of livelihood for the forest dwellers.
