Indian arts usually describe the customs, tradition, epics and rituals.Even now in few holy places and classy people paint their walls with structure of supremes, cultural designs etc.In olden days i.e before the rule of British people were too much dedicated to their religion which made them to have every thing of them related to god like even their clothes had cultural designs and even the walls were done the same.Artists also painted according to the culture, also people didn't have the idea of modernized locality.Later when British started ruling the area changed, people were confused because Britishers forced Indians to change their religion and culture.Previously India had only Hindu and Muslim religion in majority and the tradition was simple. But with the rule of British Christianity entered our society. We can conclude by saying that people mostly expressed their ideas through the way of drawing just like the way early man did in their time.
