as apart from occupations like hunting and fishing, new opportunities opened before them like becoming guards or forest inspectors many of them benefited from this opportunities  and employed as forest guard in lieu that they would work for free for forest department.

All are Benefited by the new forest rules implanted by our government :

As hunting is now strictly ban and if any one is caught , he or she should be punished hard.
The government has taken some forests as reserved , The people can roam inside that also strict rules regarding that are taken. Even people cant take friut also from there 
some forests are not strictly under government and are free for the people to roam but cant hunt animals.
And some are under the tribal people as they save there tree , because they get resources of their lively hood from there.
