Answer:

Explanation: Wealthy plebeians became part of the Roman nobility. However, despite changes in the laws, the patricians always held a majority of the wealth and power in Ancient Rome. A third social class in Roman society was the slaves.

They were not able to own property

Explanation:

  • The plebians were the ruling class (bakers, farmers, craftsmen, or builders – who worked very hard to pay taxes and support their families of the early Roman Empire.
  • In the early stages of Rome, the plebeians had few rights. They were not allowed to take up religious and government positions. Plebeians could not hold public office and  also they were not permitted to marry wealthy upper class people (patricians)
  • Moreover Plebeians were not allowed since they did not own property/land, they could only vote for a tribune,  that is the  person who was given the right to turn down laws which that person thought would hurt the plebeians
  • There were another class of people known as slaves. They were prisoners of wars. They did not have rights to property, marriage rights or voting rights. Their status could any time change due to exceptional circumstances
