Liberals wanted a nation which tolerated all religions. They were not in favor of the dynastic rulers and they opposed their power. On the other hand the Radicals wanted the government of the country based on the country's population.

Answer: Liberals regarded it as sufficient to establish individual rights that

would protect the individual. Radicals, however, sought institutional,

social/economic, and especially cultural/educational reform to allow every

citizen to put those rights into practice
