In ancient timepeoples were not able to decide who is going to do which work so they divide all the people in different groups give the name as Brahman , kshatriya , vaishnav , shudra .

the peoples who take care of temples were Brahmin , the people who worship Lord Vishnu came to be known as vaishnav , the people who go for war and people who do the work of cleaning were known as shudra.
